Recent Publications by Foundation-Funded Researchers

“Toward Understanding Ambulatory Activity Decline in Parkinson Disease,” by Cavanaugh JT, Ellis TD, Earhart GM, Ford MP, Foreman KB, and Dibble LE, was published in Physical Therapy (2015;95:1142–1150). James T. Cavanaugh, PT, PhD, NCS, was awarded a PODS I scholarship in 2001. Gammon M. Earhart, PT, PhD, was awarded a PODS II scholarship in 1999. Leland E. Dibble, PT, PhD, ATC, was awarded a Geriatric Research Grant in 2004.

“Pain Response After Maximal Aerobic Exercise in Adolescents Across Weight Status,” by Stolzman S, Danduran M, Hunter SK, and Bement MH, was published online in Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise on April 8, 2015. Stacy Stolzman, PT, MPT, was awarded a Promotion of Doctoral Studies (PODS) I scholarship in 2013 and a PODS II scholarship in 2014. Marie Hoeger Bement, PT, PhD, was awarded a Mary McMillan Doctoral Scholarship in 2000. Stolzman's contribution to this research was supported in part by the Foundation.
